I. BACKGROUND AND SCOPE OF SERVICES
1. ABOUT LUTAM FARMS LIMITED
LUTAM Farms Limited is a Nigerian agribusiness and nutrition-focused social enterprise committed to improving food security, nutrition, and livelihoods through climate-smart agriculture, food processing, agribusiness development, and value chain strengthening. The company works with smallholder farmers, women, youth, and rural communities to promote sustainable agricultural production, value addition, and access to nutritious foods.
LUTAM Farms implements farmer capacity-building programmes, nutrition-sensitive agriculture initiatives, food processing projects, and enterprise development interventions across Nigeria in collaboration with government institutions, development partners, and the private sector.
2. BACKGROUND
As part of its farmer capacity development programme, LUTAM Farms Limited will conduct a five (5)-day intensive residential training for twenty (20) farmers.
The training aims to strengthen participants’ knowledge and practical skills in climate-smart agriculture, improved farming practices, agribusiness management, value addition, food safety, and market access.
To ensure the comfort and effective participation of trainees throughout the programme, LUTAM Farms invites qualified food vendors/caterers to submit quotations for the provision of quality catering services during the training.
3. SCOPE OF SERVICES
The successful vendor shall provide catering services for 20 participants over five (5) consecutive training days.
The catering service shall include:
Morning Tea Break
Each participant shall receive:
- Rich meals
- Soft drink or fruit juice
- Bottled water
Lunch
Each participant shall receive:
A choice of one of the following meals:
- Jollof Rice
- Fried Rice
- White Rice with Stew
- Pounded Yam
- Amala
- Eba
- Semovita
Served with:
- 8 cut sized Chicken
- Salad
- Fresh seasonal fruits
- Bottled water
- Soft drink or fruit juice
Meals must be hygienically prepared, freshly cooked daily, and served promptly at the training venue.
EXPECTED VENDOR
Interested vendors must:
- Be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
- Possess a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN).
- Have previous experience providing catering services for corporate organisations, NGOs, government agencies, conferences, or training events.
- Demonstrate the capacity to provide quality meals within agreed timelines.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
- Be able to deliver meals directly to the designated training venue.
Preference will be given to vendors with proven experience serving development partners and institutional clients.
II. INSTRUCTIONS FOR RESPONDING

Interested vendors shall attach:

- Tax Identification Number (TIN) Certificate
- Evidence of previous similar contracts (where available)
- Company Profile
- Valid Means of Identification
- Bank Account Details

III. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
LUTAM Farms Limited reserves the right to:
- Accept or reject any quotation without assigning reasons.
- Negotiate pricing with the successful vendor.
- Request additional clarification where necessary.
- Cancel the procurement process without liability.
- Award the contract based on quality, experience, value for money, and compliance—not necessarily the lowest quotation.
The selected vendor shall be expected to enter into a service agreement with LUTAM Farms Limited before commencement of services.
